Livery at ASR

by Eric on 02/08/2010

in Bikes, Events, News

Livery Design Gruppe made an appearance at this years ASR (Action Sports Retail Show). As a kid who grew up in the skateboarding industry and who has been to ASR a few times, I can tell you how bad-ass this is for the fixed gear industry. More info and photos here.

Cycle Underground produces their chainrings one at a time in a single setup which means that once the piece of material is placed onto there jig it does not come off until it has been completely machined. So both the bolt holes and the teeth are produced together in the one setting so no high spots….read that again…..no high spots.

They come in 9 different designs, 30 tooth to 56tooth, anodized and polished, in every BCD you can imagine. And if they don’t a jig for the BCD you need, they’ll make one for you.

And the they run $30.00-$45.00 (aus).

Go to their site for full details.

Oak Cliff Bicycle Company just posted the good news:

Starting today, Tradewinds Social Club (2843 W Davis) is offering one free beer to all who show up on a bicycle. That’s just the begining, after the free beer you’ll get happy hour pricing. See you there.

Check out Tradewind’s FB page for more info on this little slice of Dallas dive-bar heaven.
